The Walking Dead: Dead City è una miniserie drammatica horror postapocalittica statunitense, ideata da Eli Jorné, si tratta del quarto spin-off del franchise The Walking Dead e il primo sequel della serie televisiva, basata sul fumetto omonimo di Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, rilasciata su AMC dal 18 giugno 2023.

 
Rispettivamente il personaggio più amato e più odiato di The Walking Dead, in The Walking Dead: Dead City, Maggie e Negan raggiungono una Manhattan post-apocalittica tagliata fuori dalla terraferma molto tempo fa. Ciò che trovano è una città fatiscente, stipata di morti e abitanti che hanno reso New York City il proprio mondo pieno di anarchia, pericolo, meraviglia e terrore. Il motivo di questa loro “trasferta”, e il fatto che la affrontino insieme, è presto spiegato: durante un raid, un uomo molto cattivo ha messo le mani su Hershel, il figlio di Maggie e Glenn. Negan, il responsabile della brutale morte di Glenn, è la chiave per riaverlo indietro, perché ha un conto in sospeso con l’uomo. Tuttavia, come i fan di TWD ricorderanno, Maggie e Negan sono acerrimi nemici e questa convivenza forzata non sarà per nulla facile.
