That ’70s Show è una serie comedy statunitense, creata da Mark Brazill, Bonnie Turner e Terry Turner, diretta da David Trainer, trasmessa su Fox dal 28 agosto 1998 e in Italia su Jimmy dal 30 novembre 1999.

 
Ambientata nell’epoca dei Led Zeppelin e dei poster di Farrah Fawcett, la serie racconta la vita di un gruppo di ragazzi che si sta affacciando all’età adulta. L’atmosfera surreale, la splendida colonna sonora e le molte guest star presenti nel corso delle stagioni, sono alcuni degli elementi che hanno determinato il successo di questo spumeggiante prodotto televisivo.
La serie sta agli anni ’70 come Happy Days sta ai ’50. Stessa cura per il revival, stessa tecnica di usare la cornice temporale, con annessi usi e costumi di quegli anni, per una rappresentazione generazionale (in questo caso parodistica). Non è un caso che Marion Ross, ossia mamma Cunningham in Happy Days (1974), compaia come la nonna del protagonista, così come non è un caso che la cittadina al centro delle vicende sia nel Wisconsin, lo stesso Stato di quella Milwaukee dove scorrazzavano Fonzie & Co. Nella sonnacchiosa Point Place, nel 1976, alcuni adolescenti trascorrono, tra uno spinello e l’altro, la propria adolescenza più o meno tormentata.
