Dominion è una serie apocalittica d’azione soprannaturale statunitense creata da Vaun Wilmott. Si basa sul film del 2010 “Legion”, scritto da Peter Schink e Scott Stewart. La serie ha debuttato sulla rete televisiva americana via cavo Syfy il 19 giugno 2014. Come location è stata scelta Cape Town, Sud Africa. Stewart è il produttore esecutivo della serie ed ha diretto l’episodio pilota, scritto da Wilmott.

Nel dicembre 2013, Syfy ha ordinato un episodio pilota, ambientato 25 anni dopo la fine del film in quella che una volta era Las Vegas, Nevada. Un esercito di angeli minori, assemblati dal arcangelo Gabriele, ha intrapreso una guerra di potere contro il genere umano. L’arcangelo Michele, andando contro la sua stessa natura, ha scelto di schierarsi con l’umanità contro Gabriel. Dopo 25 anni di battaglia, sono sorte città fortificate per proteggere i superstiti umani.
