Doc Martin è una serie televisiva inglese trasmessa in Italia prima da “Hallmark Channel” poi da Rai 3.
La serie è girata a Port Isaac e nei dintorni, in Cornovaglia, ed è basata su due film TV del 2003 Doc Martin e Doc Martin and the Legend of the Cloutie sempre interpretati da Martin Clunes, ma con un altro personaggio, il dottor Martin Bamford.
Martin Ellingham (Martin Clunes) è un celebre chirurgo londinese che si trasferisce in un tranquillo villaggio di pescatori in Cornovaglia per svolgere il lavoro di medico condotto. È sempre burbero e scontroso con tutti e a volte litiga con gli abitanti del villaggio.
