Sposati… Con Figli (Married… with Children) è una sit-com statunitense andata in onda su FOX dal 1987 al 1997.
La famiglia Bundy è la classica famiglia americana. Non quella da pubblicità, intendiamoci, quella reale. Al è il papà, fa il venditore di scarpe porta a porta e tra una porta in faccia e l’altra rivive, la gloria sfiorata sul campo da football quando era al liceo. E’ un misogino pigro, imbranato e costantemente in fuga dagli approcci amorosi della moglie Peggy, una casalinga, non disperata, che spende tutti i soldi del marito al salone di bellezza e nei centri commerciali. Hanno due figli: Kelly, bellissima che sembra pensare solo alle feste e ai ragazzi e Bud, un ragazzo introverso, troppo timido per riuscire a realizzare il suo sogno di “fare centro” con una ragazza. Insieme Al e Peggy sono sopravvissuti a due decadi di convivenza, l’equilibrio raggiunto è delicato e sempre minacciato dalle crisi quotidiane. Precursori dei Simpsons, “Sposati…con figli” è una serie che mostra la realtà che si cela nelle case americane, una realtà ben diversa da quella patinata e perfetta che gli States si ostinano a proporre come immagine vincente.
